ClubMed at Bintan (Day 3)

Karen was telling me that they saw monkeys on Day 1. We only spotted them on Day 3. They hopped around the balcony when they hear noises. I cannot recall when and why they were sitting in our balcony. But the interesting thing was that they were not that keen in us looking at them through the glass....they were keen to watch the Ben 10 cartoon on our TV. Ha Ha Ha...

Actually they are quite nice looking with a long tail...

On Day 3, we had another round of archery. This time we had adult session and a family session. Here's a pic of HT having a round of shooting.

And here is me....Hee Hee....

And here is me and my little marksman...Bryan is not allowed to play because he is below 6 years old.

See...This is Marcus having his shot. Most of the earlier shots he needed some help. But this round, he managed to pull the string and shoot out the arrow himself. Not bad...For a small size boy...

Karen ans family came along as well and managed to squeezed into the last slot for family shooting. Here's a pic taken of the four buddies on our way back after the archery session. CUTIE...

The boys first try at the pool table. The room was stuffy and hot. Could not tahan it for long so we ended after one round at it and went for lunch.

After lunch, we had a dip in the pool. Here's a family pic. One thing not so good about clubmed is that there is no toddler pool. Minimum height at the pool was 1.0 metre. But there were 2 kids pool inside the Clubhouse. Not sure if that is available for all.

We had dinner at the Tavern Restuarant facing the South China Sea. The main dish was crayfish along with other grilled food. Not bad but less choices compared to the main restuarant. We headed back to the main restuarant after this for ice cream. :)

Lovely pic of the father and sons...

ClubMed at Bintan (Day 2 - Videos)

Here are the videos captured on the camera on Day 2. Had to "downgrade" it to smaller file size so that it can be loaded. Hmm...guess something to view is better than nothing...*_*

This is Han Tiong on the Trapeze. He was doing pretty fine but missed the bar when he attempted to recover from the act.

This is me of course. I din realise that I am so fat nowadays...Hahaha....Time to slim down liao. Pretty scary to climb up and all the backgroud sound is actually the wind blowing. The whole ladder was shaking and that makes me feel like chickening out. But I'm glad I gave it a try....Er...Once is enough...Me old liao....Kekekeke

There is Marcus and Bryan the Telematch. Marcus is the one in green and Bryan in yellow. I din not know who to flim when both of them are running!!!

This was cute. Marcus team leader was anxious to win and then "helped" him along...Super funny...

Sack race is new to both boys. First time doing it. I guess they did well and had great fun.

ClubMed at Bintan (Day 2 - Pictures)

After a hearty breakfast, we deposited the boys at the Mini Club at 9am. There were less kids on Day 2 for us. Maybe most of them are going home since the PH is over. Marcus had fun at Archery in the morning followed by the balance circus act at the trapeze.

It's pretty neat to see that they can walk it confidently. They could not go for trapeze as they were too young. Well, I guess this is better than nothing. After this, they had some fun in the mini pool in the clubhouse followed by lunch. Well, obviously they enjoyed it because they got to eat ice cream in our absence!!!

After lunch and rest time, they had beach time at 2pm. Here is Bryan playing out on the sand. The girl behind was crying for her mum. I guess we were quite lucky that the boys are not clinging and actually enjoying themselves at the club.

Here's Marcus happy like a bird making sandcastles on the beach.

After beach, it is pool time where the kids had games in the pool. Bryan enjoyed the Nemo and shark game very much. He was damn cute during the game. All kids were Nemos and one of the G.O. was a shark. When you get caught by the shark, you have to raise your hands up and stop moving. You can only be saved when another Nemo touch you. Bryan will automatically raise his hands to signal caught even before the G.O. touch him...Ha Ha Ha...And he will then ask for other Nemos to save him. Kekekeke...Very very cute.

Here's Marcus swimming around and having his own fun. He enjoys "running" away from the shark.

Today, we had a change of room and this is the balcony from our room at Block A. Super good view and near to the pool. Great!

The kids had telematch after snack time and here is Marcus with a ping pong ball. They had quite a number of games and it seems fun. It was a first telematch for Bryan as I don't think he had played such games before.

And here is Bryan with his ugly makeup. Not as nice as Marcus. Hee Hee...

Rest time after the telematch and after shower. This is the boys room. They enjoyed watching Ben 10 on Cartoon Network in the room.
For us, we went for Archery, Trapeze, beach time and swimming at the pool. Hmm...I guess we are also getting old. Not enough energy to do so many things. Kekeke.

ClubMed at Bintan (Day 1)

We had a vacation of 5 days at Bintan Clubmed. We all had a great time there and it was not as boring as we expected. The only restriction is our energy...Kekeke... We went there along with Karen and family.

Here is a photo of the boys squeezing on a seat on the ferry to Bintan. The ride was quite bad as the sea was quite choppy. I can still recall the churning of my stomach during the bumpy ride. Super uncomfortable...

We were greated by the G.O.s in the ClubMed with a warm welcome. Unfortunately, our rooms were at the last block of the row and Karen's was at the other wing away from us. As we had requested to be close-by, they agreed to let us change to Block A on Day 2. Frankly, Block A was so so much better. We saved so much time from walking...^_^
Here is a pic of the pool from the reception area.

This is a pic taken while lying on the beach and enjoying the cool breeze. It was pretty relaxing and one of the rare things that we do with out hectic life back in Singapore. Taking time off to rest was good.

It was the monsoon period and the sea was quite rough. No swimming but more of playing water on the beach.

We signed in the boys into the Mini Club where they had a snack time and a kite making session. Frankly, the kites were done by the G.O.s and hardly done by them. Marcus was queuing up to get the kite tied.

And here is Bryan...There were simply too many kids at that time and too few G.O.s and it was a mess. I even had to scold a boy for bullying Bryan when he cut his queue and scold Bryan. Haiz...

There was a Q&A game for the kids after dinner. We just watched as we are "new" to it. Here is a pic of Bryan, Claris and Faith.

There was a pool trapeze performance at 9pm that night and here are the 3 kids again. And we have Bryan as the big boss....Hee Hee....The kids were so cute. We did not finish the show as they were tired. Ended the night early for the next day's activities.
