Marcus had to do a Show and Tell in Mandarin in class for the term task performance. We spent about 1 hour last night making him practise and tell in front of us. Other than his voice which was soft, the rest was ok as he could remember the content quite fast. He presented in class today without the planned actions because he said that the teacher told him that it was not needed. According to him, there were kids who could not read finish what they were to say and some who could. Luckily he is able to do it. I'm pretty sure he can remember the whole content. Only issue was whether he spoke loud enough. :)
He told us on our way home that their class will be presenting a play on Children's Day and guess what?.....He says he is the narrator. Both myself and his dad went "WHAT?".....And we think he got a shock and looked puzzled by our reaction. Hmm...Maybe we should just concentrate on helping him on it rather than "laughing within and wonder why on earth was he chosen to narrate"......Sometimes I wonder how the teachers make the choices...KeKeKe...What a strange decision...To choose a boy who speaks so soft...
