Does anyone need a fireman?

My grand-niece, Claris. She's very adorable and chubby. Pretty right?

MARCUS First Spelling Excercise

First spelling test is planned for on 6 July. These few nights we have been asking him to learn the 3 words by writing them in the excercise book. AIR, LIGHT, WATER.
I tested him last night like an actual spelling test and he DID IT! So proud of him. Well, doesn't matter if he did not get it right for the actual spelling test. I just want him to have fun... ^_^

BRYAN can recognise numbers!!

As usual, we head straight for home after leaving my mum's place from dinner. On the road near Yishun Golden Village, we stopped at the traffic light and there was a bus besides us. Suddenly, Bryan just started saying 'Mummy, this bus is 8...1...1'. Upon checking, it was certainly 811!! Finally, after 3 weeks of exposing him to numbers 6-10, he can recognise them with 80% accuracy. Hee Hee...

Basically we are lazier with him compared to Marcus and had not exposed him to much flash cards and teaching. Wake-up call was during teacher-parent session when Ms Lim mentioned that he can only recognise numbers 1-5 only.

Well, guess we have to work harder on him. :D

May 2007

Hmm...cannot really remember the date but on a day in May, we brought the boys to cut their hair. As usual, to stop them from crying, we give them mini M&Ms to distract them.
And that day, I wanted to cut my hair short too. When my boys are done, I went for my turn. Halfway through, Bryan came up to me and ask me, "Mummy, you want a chocolate?" with a cute concern look on this face... Ha Ha Ha...Almost make me fall of my chair!!

On another Saturday, another interesting remark from Bryan. We went for a morning walk at the park behind the mosque near our house. After the walk, we went for breakfast at a coffee shop. While waiting for their soup noodles, a lady sat besides our table with a small white dog. The 2 boys find it so interesting that they keep on looking and calling the dog. When the noodles arrive and moments after Bryan ate his noodles, he suddenly turned to to dog and asked, "Dog, you want to eat my mian?". Both tables ended up laughing...

Well, we went to Genting 28-30 April 2007 on coach and here's some photos to share. Weather was cold and quite boring for adults but it was great fun for the boys as they love the car rides there!
